A Little About Me & How I Work

I believe in the transformative power of the therapeutic relationship. My goal is to create a space where you can show up as your actual self, explore your experiences, and work toward healing and growth. I take a holistic, person-centered approach to therapy, which means I want to understand you as a whole person, beyond a diagnosis.

I'm not the kind of therapist who expects you to show up with everything figured out or keep it together for an hour. We can laugh, cry, joke, get angry, or finally say the thing you've been afraid to say out loud. Nothing is off limits. I won't curb my personality just because I'm your therapist. I want you to feel comfortable being yourself, not the version of yourself you think you're supposed to be.

I hold a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Immaculata University and am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). My background includes training in EMDR, Polyvagal Theory, and Somatic Experiencing, along with being a certified yoga teacher, Reiki master, and mindfulness and meditation practitioner. I incorporate these approaches alongside traditional therapy to support the connection between your mind and body.

I believe talking through our experiences can bring clarity, but understanding why we feel a certain way doesn't always change how we feel or react. Stress and trauma can shape our nervous systems, creating patterns that once protected us but may no longer serve us. Together, we'll explore those patterns, understand where they came from, and work toward responding differently.

Many of the women I work with carry years of shame, self-criticism, grief, stress, and the expectation that they should be able to handle it all. They're exhausted from pushing through, putting everyone else first, and feeling like they're somehow never doing enough.

Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, grief, life transitions, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, we'll work collaboratively to identify your needs, build on your strengths, and create meaningful change.

My work is rooted in helping women reconnect with themselves, heal generational patterns, and let go of the cycles that no longer serve them.

You don't have to keep being the person you've learned to be just to get through life. There's room to become someone who feels more like you.
